Further North is a blog devoted to humanizing the famed Canadian pianist, Glenn Gould (1932-82) by way of amusing references to various aspects of media, story-telling and pop culture.
In 2017, I was fortunate to "babysit" Glenn's chair for a few days as I was preparing for the show, Glenn Gould 905. My dear friend, Lorne Tulk, was kind enough to share the chair with our audience and I will never forget having had it with me in my home for that brief time. Fun Fact: Glenn kept this chair in a black garbage bag!
